A music week in breathtaking nature !

Delphi, the "Navel of the Earth", welcomes young guitarists and ensembles to study guitar by great teachers,

interpret music by taking inspiration and energy from its magical landscape,  

perform in concerts, take part in competitions, exchange experiences and make new friendships !

The Friends of Music Society - one of the two institutions which established the Megaron - The Athens Concert Hall - is a non-profit association which has been promoting many cultural activities for over 65 years, including educational programs for young musicians and awarding scholarships through musical contests.

Art Campus is a Summer Educational Program for young musicians, organized by the Friends of Music Society in Delphi, one of the most important archaeological sites in the World and which takes place in the premises of the European Cultural Center of Delphi

Focusing on different subjects each year, Art Campus has hosted more than 250 young musicians who have taken part in master classes for solo instruments, voice, chamber music etc. and participated as soloists in musical ensembles or orchestras in concerts open to the public in Delphi and at Megaron, The Athens Concert Hall (www.megaron.gr)

Art Campus 2019 is dedicated to the classical guitar, giving emphasis on original solo compositions from the classical era to the present day, guitar transcriptions of compositions by Spanish composers and on the repertoire of guitar ensembles and chamber music ensembles with various instruments including the guitar. 

The awarded soloists and musical ensembles of the musical competitions which will take place will have the opportunity to participate in recitals and concerts during a day devoted to classical guitar in the Dimitris Mitropoulos Hall at Megaron-The Athens Concert Hall on Saturday 9th November 2019.
